Just a reminder that all the award emails have been completed in mid-June. The next step for students is to log back into their "Saved Application" site (Leo Adler website, under applications) and look for "Application-College of Choice Form", click on it, fill it out completely and correctly making note that we are now capturing Student ID's per the colleges/universities/trade schools request. Ensure that you are entering the school name that you will be attending as that is where the check goes. Regardless of when your school starts, you MUST submit the College of Choice form on or before 8/31, otherwise you will forfeit the dollar amount for the academic year. If you run into any issues, please email us using the email located on the website. The 1st round of checks will go out in early August, so the earlier you submit your form, the earlier we can get a check out to your school.
We are taking applications for community grants from July 1 to September 1!
The Leo Adler Community Fund makes contributions to charitable organizations in arts and humanities, education, health, social and historical welfare, children and youth, civic and environmental causes and other fields in Baker and North Powder.
The Leo Adler scholarship window is now closed. We will begin processing each application to ensure we have all the required documents as we only review complete applications. The Leo Adler committee will start reviewing each application later this month and notifications will go out in June, so please ensure you have access to your email all summer long as the award email contains time sensitive and important information. Good luck to each one of you!!
Hi there students!! I am sitting here on a Friday afternoon wondering why i have time on my hands and then I quickly realize it's because I have only received 62 applications so far with at least 200 more expected. So my question to all of you my student friends is why are you waiting to submit your application? Do you want to spend your spring break working on your application? I certainly would not choose that option as there are so many more fun options for spring break. So...... to prevent me from sitting here waiting somewhat impatiently, please submit your application asap. The earlier the better in case you have an error or a missing required document. With that, enjoy your weekend but not too much as you do have to get your application submitted to me so that Monday morning I will log on and be super surprised at all the applications that have been submitted over the weekend.
Well it's really hard to believe that we are back here once again gearing up for another busy scholarship season. We have had the scholarship window open since 1/1/2019 and have only 32 applications in. I urge you to NOT wait until the last week to complete and submit your application as it gets extremely busy and we will be unable to contact you promptly if you are missing any required documentation or you have an application that is missing the budget section etc. Please take 20 minutes now, because that is really all it will take you to complete the application from start to finish. I am happy to walk you through any questions or concerns you may have. My contact information is in the application and on the Leo Adler website. Let's get through this together so that you can concentrate on the more important parts of life.😀
